Young children can be a bit tricky on car journeys – especially long ones!  One trick you can employ which has quite good results is to keep them occupied and thus distracting them from being aware that they are actually in the car, and filling their time so they don’t think about it.

This handy back attaches to the back of the front seats and has an inbuilt writing/ drawing/ you-name-it tray, and plenty of space for crayons and paper (crayons, paper etc not included).  You can even pop in a drink and snack.  It also helps teach children to keep their belongings tidy after use, which no mum or dad will complain about!
