For girls, the two backpacks above would make ideal school bags for the forthcoming new school years.  The bags, from Cath Kidston, are hardwearing and practical that wipe clean with a damp cloth, but are also very pretty and fun.  A whole range of bags is available including smaller backpacks for very young children perhaps just starting at school or nursery.  Pretty pencil cases are also available.
