It is hard to imagine that denim was introduced as a hard-wearing utility fabric for workers overalls and trousers, and has gone on to be such a well-loved fashion fabric. No longer reserved for scruffy, shapeless trousers that looked untidy and worn by someone who didn’t care about their appearance! Denim continues to evolve, and is currently enjoying something of a renaissance and is one of the key trends this year. Not surprising then that some of the top designers are using it for their products.
